Shikai:
Two thin, long swords. The blades are almost always covered with a layer of frost when they are pulled out of their sheaths. If the blade makes contact with skin, while it will not freeze a person, it will, for a short period of time, make moving the limb the sword touched much more difficult, and can cause an excessive amount of frost bite to the area.
Bankai:
Ice shoots up from the swords and wraps themselves around Miyuki's arms, virtually attaching her swords to herself. What looks to be snow peels off of her arms when she's fighting, and if there is an attack she cannot move fast enough to block, it forms a sheet of ice to attempt to block the attack. The ice isn't incredibly strong, so a well-aimed attack can cut through it, but it will at least attempt to weaken the blow.
Backround:
As a child, Miyuki was quick to anger and tended to get into fights with people her age, older, it didn't matter to her so long as the fight would be interesting. She didn't connect well with people, and this often led her to believe that others were simply out to get her, and that she was the only one who was willing to defend herself. She gained a small reputation for thinking with her fists and not with her head, and it wasn't long before she realized that it was this sort of behavior that was separating her from the people around her. Guilt was something that weighed heavily on the girl, and she decided to find something better to do, or so she claimed, than continue to pick fights. She enrolled in the Soul Reaper Academy, something suggested to her by one of the boy's she often fought with. It was the first time she willingly took someone's advice.
Personality:
Miyuki generally comes off as cold and aloof, and this is normally due to her having a lack of something to say. When she does, however, come across a topic that she cares about, she becomes rather passionate about it and is willing to talk for hours. She's often restless, always wanting to be able to do something, and easily bored. She doesn't take too long, normally, to think things through, and simply acts on her emotions whether this will get her in trouble or not. She's one to follow her heart and stick up her friends, regardless of the consequences. If it's to protect someone, or to just have a bit of extra fun, she's there.
Weapons:
Long, silver throwing needles. They're strapped in a thin black holder around her left forearm.
